The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging (AAA), one of 52 in Pennsylvania, is responsible for the planning and implementation of a variety of services and programs to assist older adults and their families. We are organized as the local agent of the PA Department of Aging, whose broad goal is to provide comprehensive services to help adults age 60+ maintain independence in their homes and communities. Our priority consumers are those with the greatest needs and fewest resources. The people of Bucks County are grateful for the many sacrifices each veteran has willingly made in the service of our country and for the cause of freedom throughout the world. As a symbol of their appreciation, the Bucks County Board of Commissioners extend the services and benefits of the Department of Veterans Affairs to those veterans and their dependents.

Every four years we are charged with developing a 4-Year Plan to be approved by our State authority, PA Department of Aging. This plan is to be an outline of what we seek to provide for our Montgomery County Older Adults over the course of four years, what we seek to improve on, and how we can further enhance our services to our older adult residents.

We are privileged to serve the men and women and their families who have so ably served our country in times of war and peace. We are here to help the Montgomery County Veteran Community* wade through the intricate and sometimes complicated process of obtaining veteran-related benefits and services. We encourage you to take advantage of this free service.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for older adults age 55 and over to engage in services that address educational, public safety, environmental, health/nutrition, economic development and other human needs to achieve direct and demonstrable results.
